Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of clinicians, nurses, and psychologists involved in the following areas related to military medicine: medical simulation and health information science, trauma care, infectious disease, military operational medicine to include psychological health, and clinical and rehabilitative medicine.

Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, the participant should be better able to:

  • Promote awareness of the depth and quality of DoD sponsored medical research
  • Inform on the outcomes of DoD sponsored medical research in approximately 60 research categories through oral and poster presentations
  • Provide a forum for conversation and collaboration between military, academic and industry partners in order to promote advances in military medicine
